Creativity Worth Celebrating!

I've been trying to write this post for a week and now, finally, it's done! It's been one very busy, fleeting time.
Last Saturday was strip club and we had some beautiful offerings for show and tell. Each and every things that was shared drew oohs and aahs from the Scarlet Strippers!
Let's start with Sharon, who shared her patriotic wall hanging and her very first attempt at applique-
Three cheers for the red, white and blue!

Plus, she's been busy making bags and bags and bags.
One can never have too many bags. :)

This is Brenda, who cam up to join us from Macon, to share not only the most adorable Bow Tuck purse but...

a check book cover and...

a wallet, a zippered clutch and a change purse, to boot! All of these little treats were made in the hoop on her embroidery/sewing machine. I think I need one.

Brenda's friend, Dawn, shared her own bag, complete with only the cutest big button ever! I love everything about this bag. Dawn? Dawn? Can you hear me? lol

Our own Miss Ann proudly shared her Tic Tacs quilt that she made from a Silver Thimble Club pattern.
It's very yummy and....

she's also been making bags! If this is the summer of the bag, I think I have missed the boat!

Kay completed her June strip club quilt, Star Crossed, in time to wave it proudly before us.
It is very beautiful and absolutely perfect. Brava, Kay!

Lynne, who makes the biggest quilts I've ever seen, made her May strip club quilt, Twirling, in serene greens and yellows and then......

floored us with her amazing Star Crossed quilt using the most bold and zingy orange!
Oh, man, does this quilt sing!

Jennifer is holding up pieces of her Star Crossed quilt. (She got more done than I did!)
It is going to be very pretty.

Miss Barbara showed off her talents with her lovely Beach City Blooms quilt.
It's purple perfection!

Margarett, a new stripper, displays her Take 5 Georgia quilt. I would have taken a better photo of the Georgia Tech version, but my family would have disowned me. It's UGA all the way, baby!

What will we be making for next month? It's a Christmas in July quilt using Fruitcake line by Basic Grey for Moda and the Sunshine pattern by Cozy Quilt Designs (sadly, it's no longer available). Ho! Ho! Ho!

Sew, what's been going on in your sewing room?

Come back soon to see where I sew (through the door above) and to share your creative spaces!

As usual a wonderful job done by all. The pictures don't do the actuall projects justice. If you're not coming to Strip Club you are missing a true blessing. We have so much fun.
