In the Blink of an Eye...

Well, maybe like a billion blinks of an eye. That's what it took to move AST from its old location to the new one. Phew! What a lot of work! After taking down all of our sample quilts, slat wall and decorations we were left with bare walls. Not content with staring at such bareness, Suzette recommended we offer our customers a Sharpie and let them write well wishes and fond farewells to the place that housed us for the past two years.

We have the best customers in the world, don't you think?

To prove it, here are Maryann and Shirley, two of our faves, who came and fixed us lunch two days in a row. They make the most delicious chicken salad and the brownies were chocolate perfection- thick, chewy, moist, awesome. Thank you, girls, from the bottoms of our hearts. Your kindness was very much appreciated.
After lunch it was back to work. And work we did! Below are some shots of the new space. One of our "strippers" made the comment to me today that it feels as if the shop had always been here. That's a high compliment indeed.

Lots of luscious fabrics.

Cute clothing,

The Bundle Quad, where every bundle possible is on display...

The Men's Area.... or the Women's Area. I guess it depends on who gets there first!

From the Men's Area to the blenders and solids......

Around the corner to Christmas, which really is around the corner.....Yikes!

To the fruit and veggie stand....

and across to novelties.....

You can even get a little laundry done. ha ha

And off to the beautiful batiks. Yum.

After you've been all around the shop, you might want to have a seat and rest!

But then, you might miss the kid's area!

Speaking of kids, here's my new granddaughter, Emma, who
made her first trip to the shop today with her mommy.

She was unimpressed. You can't win 'em all!
Thanks for taking this little tour and come see us!

Can't wait to come in and Shop and then visit the Stitch Lounge for Christmas Sew in. I'm sad for leaving the old store but happy about the new one.

Give Emma a second chance. She might of had a little gas and wasn't sure. If she's anything like Grandma she will be creating in no time.
