Strippin' in the New Year!

I would kind of like to see the face of the person who found this post on Google. I am sure they are disappointed. Bwahahahaha! There was no disappointment to be found at Strip Club this time though! There was a lot of cute stuff. Cute stuff,  indeed.

Kris made this adorable Queen of the Nile quilt. I love how the girls pop off the black background! This would be a sweet baby quilt for a little girl. I would add some French knot eyes, just for a fun detail. :)

Susan made a darling chevron baby quilt and she brought a few of her sister, Karen's, scrappy change purses and wallet-

Love these! So cute and so easy-peasy for quick gifts!

Lisa Marie loves the Yellow Brick Road pattern and this version made with happy Dr. Seuss fabric is pretty spiffy!

LaTonda ventured out on her own, making this gorgeous wall quilt of a West African woman and

doing a little thread sketching. Just look at the detail in those hands! Remarkable.

No, Karen is not popping out of Thomas' Mondo Bag. It just looks that way. Oy.

Okay, Marjorie wowed us all with her Christmas Ribbons quilt. She remembered the name and that it came from a book but could not remember which one! A quick search on Google and I was able to find that this pattern comes from Scrap Basket Surprises by Kim Brackett. You're welcome.

Liz utilized some of her many scraps to make this darling half square triangle baby quilt. I see a theme here!

Guess what our Marge got for Christmas? A quilt shop! How precious is this? It even came with tiny quilt. :)

Hillary made her own Mondo Bag (really, this is the most popular bag pattern in the shop!) using High Street. Luscious, luscious!

Well, guess who forgot to snap a picture of the new Strip Club quilt before she took it down and hung it up in the shop? Yeah, me. So here it is hanging in its spot of honor! The pattern is Blurred Lines and it is made with gray-blue and mocha batiks. It's gorgeous.

As most of you know, we have a special visitor coming to the shop this coming Friday and Saturday. Yep, it's Jenny Doan of Missouri Star Quilt Company fame and we are thrilled! We can barely contain our excitement, seriously. The shop has been spiffed up for her visit, and for yours, and we will be waiting with bells on! Photos? Why, yes, there will be. :) I wouldn't forget you.
